Veer Sikander, who was returning home after conquering India, saw a priest. He had never seen a monk before.  So, he decided to take him to his native Macedonia. He stopped the monk and said be ready to go with me. The monk instantly replied I will not go.  The victorious Sikander was very proud. He promptly drew his sword and put it on the priest's neck and said, "Nobody dares to deny me. You have to go with me”.

The monk laughed and said, don’t threaten to cut my neck. I've had my neck cut off for a long time before. You are eager to see my tumble off head when my neck will be cut off. But I have seen it happen to me before.

Sikandar became dumbfounded. He said I see your courage is more than mine. How could you be so fearless?

The monk said, "Even after you have conquered this world, you are not completely satisfied. Your desire to conquer is still burning. But I am fully satisfied and happy with this life. I don’t have any desire to accumulate more in life. I am totally contented.

So, I can easily depart this body without any repentance. I don’t need time to beg sorry & to ask for forgiveness from others. I am living my life by settling my account every second.
